This seemed like a good idea though

I decided to add all smart units to my home.

  • I got security cameras, a video door bell, smoke detector plus a thermostat that are all smart products.

They supposedly all are managed on the smart app that I can run on my PC, laptop plus tablet. In theory, I believe this should be an amazing thing. I am supposed to be able to set several biweekly programs for each thing. I can get alerts on complications. The existing cameras let me believe when there is movement. The doorbell shows a real time image of people standing on my front step. The smoke detector lets me know when it detects heat, not just smoke. My smart thermostat should tell me about humidity complications, air quality troubles, major air filter swings or inefficient Heating as well as A/C settings. The concern is that I am too freaking old for my smart products. It took me forever to download the app plus get all my assorted products on there. Now organizing timed programs has been an issue. I never really believe what plan is alerting me plus what to do. I frequently have my smart thermostat set at 60 degrees plus then have to frantically mess with it. I seem to either have it severely running or totally turned off. I don’t believe what I am doing wrong. My doorbell camera even wants to alert me when there is a squirrel running on my front porch. I should be able to save cash plus have more security with these wise products. The key word is should though.
