For years I just made due with an oil furnace in my home unhappily, simply because that is the heating plan that came with the house, however I figured increasing to a totally different fuel style would be really invasive, time consuming plus expensive.

It looked hideous plus took up so much extra room. The fumes from the oil furnace were not exactly pleasant to live with either. The worst was the fear of not having heat though, however waiting for massive oil shipments in the Wintertide was always a nail biting experience, then every so often the shipment got delayed, lost or on back order. That was always horrible to have to worry that my family would be super cold during the holiday season. I finally decided that I was willing to do anything possible to get a gas furnace instead. The Heating as well as A/C business I called up one day was just fantastic. The guy was great at explaining the process plus he said it certainly would not be a substantial deal to change it. The oil tank was removed plus gas hookups plus a flue network were quickly installed. I like the gas furnace so much better. The gas heating system still needs to be frequently cleaned plus maintained to make sure it doesn’t overheat. It definitely could leak carbon monoxide or catch on fire… Since I am a neat freak, this isn’t a worry. I even signed up for yearly heating service to ensure that I really don’t have any accidental heating mishaps.
