My central heating and air conditioning system is currently on its last leg. It is coming time to get a brand new and totally up to date heat and a/c system of some sort. I had thought about just replacing my central heating and air conditioning unit with something exactly the same, but in a more brand new and very up to date version. After looking at all the brand new and very up to date central heating and air conditioning systems on the market today, I decided on something totally different. I decided to mix it up you could say. For my heating, I was going to invest in a geothermal heat pump, and for my air conditioning I would have the standard central a/c. By doing this method I was going to save a lot of money on my monthly electric bills. The geothermal heat pump uses much less energy than that of a central heating system. And although the geothermal heat pump cost quite a pretty penny to buy and instal, within time it will end up paying for itself all around without question. That is how much energy savings you can end up pulling off by using a geothermal heat pump instead of a central heating system unit. The central air conditioning on the other hand will not save me any money, but it still is and always will be the best way to cool your home in the super hot summer months of the year. Central air conditioning alone is the best form of a/c you can possibly get.
