It doesn’t matter what the outside weather is, the lake house will be horribly warm. My mother plus father-in-law have no qualms about turning the control equipment up to 85 degrees. It’s so warm that everyone is wet with sweat within multiple minutes of arriving. Both of us all argument over who gets to take out the garbage just for the chance to step outside. Both of us try to open a window without letting our in-laws notice. The fresh air is such a relief. My mother-in-law consistently catches me plus shuts the window. She gets upset that I’m letting the heat escape. She says it forces the gas furnaces to toil harder. If she’s so upset with wear plus tear on the heating system, I would assume she’d lower the control equipment to a fair setting. It’s entirely odd that the two of us arrive in wool coats plus snow boots plus are forced to strip down because it’s so odoring warm at her house.
