One of the things I typically want to know about when doing business with a company is whether or not they choose to show generosity.
Even though most business owners work hard to create their companies, that does not mean that they achieved their success in a bubble of their own making.
No company succeeds without other people! They need employees, repair people and of course buyers. Without buyers, no company is a success, then in other words, they need the folks in their community, because that is true, I typically look for an attitude of gratitude when I decide to be a buyer of any corporation. Take one of the local heating plus cooling companies, for example, and here in our small city, one of the HVAC companies goes to extra effort to show support for teenagers. Henry’s HVAC gives a portion of its proceeds to a children’s charity. In addition, the HVAC company sponsors events throughout the neighborhood each year. During the winter festival, the HVAC company provides heating in multiple of the tents. Also, both of us have a snow mountain and an ice skating arena. Both of those require lots of a/c because both of us are a southern city. We don’t exactly have snow naturally! Therefore, the HVAC company needs to provide lots of cooling for those fun teenagers’ projects. Because Henry’s HVAC loves teenagers, I choose to do business with them when I need a/c repair or repair. I will also choose them when the time comes to replace our heating and cooling system down the road.
