I don’t mind the cold that much, but I dislike being overheated.
That’s why I am rarely seen in public in the Wintertide wearing our Wintertide coat. Oh, I’ll put it on before I leave the home plus keep it on in the car, with the gas furnace on low, however but, I will take it off before I go into a public store or diner. I wasn’t regularly that way. Years ago, as soon as I entered a store or diner in the winter, I would take off our Wintertide coat plus get stuck holding plus carrying the bulky thing. So, now I just leave it in the car. Sure, it’s a cold walk from our heated car to whatever heated store or diner that I am going to, but at least I won’t get overheated. I suppose these stores plus diners want their customers to be comfortable, but, in our opinion, most turn their temperature controls up to high. Most of the customers are dressed for the cold weather plus I suppose that I am not the only 1 that gets overheated in public locales during the winter. I keep our own heat at house on 66 degrees, plus while I don’t recommend the stores plus diners do that, they really don’t need to put the heat on 85, which sometimes it feels like. I dislike doing our Christmas shopping at the mall, however while the mall walkways plus hallways are usually comfortable, the stores are often overheated plus stuffy, however even without our Wintertide coat, I get overheated. Seriously, why do they have to turn the heat up so high?
