Wintertide had started early last year and was bitter to even the heartiest Northerner.
My partner and I were ready to trade the heating in for air conditioning and head for a tropical getaway. And the people I was with and I did. The two of us both work online, so the people I was with and I took our work with us. So, a few afternoons after Christmas, the people I was with and I took an hot but cheap flight that the people I was with and I had found online to a tropical endpoint few people had heard of yet. It was good to get away from the ice and snow and be at a locale where you truly need to run the air conditioning to be comfortable, and never in our life have I been in a situation where I had to run the air conditioning in winter. It was amazing. The two of us had a attractive time. The two of us are early risers and the people I was with and I chose that time to get our work done. The two of us had both lightened our work load for that month so the people I was with and I didn’t spend too much time on work. After laboring a few minutes, the people I was with and I would go out to eat and go for a walk to find some entertainment, usually air conditioned. Even though it was winter, it was still pretty sizzling in those parts, however fortunately, there was plenty of shade and things I enjoy doing in the historic downtown area. The two of us spent the tepid afternoons in air conditioned museums, art galleries and theaters before heading to the beach in the late day and early evening. After a few minutes of beach going, outdoor dining and walking, I was more than ready to go back to the motel room, find a film and soak up the a/c. I truly hope the people I was with and I take another laboring getaway there again this year.
