There are days when it is difficult for me to keep all my appointments right on time.

Sometimes my clients want to talk about something other than what I am there for. They find another problem before they even arrive, and that is a concern for them. Somehow I always give them the help they need, and there isn’t an appointment missed. I pride myself on this, and I feel that everyone should have the work ethic I have. Unfortunately, my work ethic is not the ethics of all companies, especially my HVAC company. I know they tell you they have a three-hour window whenever you have an appointment for service or repair. Most of the time I am prepared to wait a good bit of time for the HVAC technician to arrive for me. Waiting for someone to arrive and not having them show up at all is unforgivable. Is it any wonder, when my HVAC technician didn’t show up, I called the HVAC company. I told them I was still waiting for the HVAC technician and I wanted to know why? They bluntly told me that he was running late and they would need to schedule another appointment. I laughed at that statement and told them I expected him to be here today and if he wasn’t; I was going to file a formal complaint against him and their company with the owner. It was the owner who showed up an hour later and repaired my air conditioning unit. He apologized for whatever happened and told me he was going to have a long talk with the dispatcher and with his son, who was the HVAC technician scheduled to come to my house.

If there is one thing I hate, it is when you have a service tech come to the house to make a repair, and they tell you your item still will not work. I have had this happen several times. I had this happen last week. I had to have the HVAC technician come in and do an inspection on my furnace. He told me he had found a problem with the furnace and he had to do a repair. I asked him if he could do the repair immediately and he told me he had to order the part. I was okay with him ordering the part. I didn’t like the idea that he couldn’t even give me an idea of when my furnace would get repaired.. He said that was the best he could do. What did he mean by ‘this is the best I can do’? Did that mean he was going to order the part for the furnace? Maybe he wasn’t even sure if the furnace part was available? He had me a bit upset with his odd answer. I called the HVAC company and told them about the furnace and how the young man said I needed a part. I also told them about his odd answer. The receptionist told me that normally it takes from a day to a week to get a part. It all depended on whether they had it in the warehouse. When they delivered the new part, it wasn’t by the young HVAC tech. An older HVAC tech arrived with the younger HVAC tech in tow. The HVAC company thought he needed a bit more one-on-one training on how to talk to customers.

If you’re care about me and you’re about ready to start using your air conditioning again for the year, then you want to make sure that you check the exterior air conditioning system unit that is outside of your loft before you turn it on for the first time.

I didn’t do this last year and I ended up having to pay for that mistake with a lot of currency in air conditioning system service costs! See, all of us have a huge tree in the backyard that grows fairly close to the air conditioning unit and for some reason, I didn’t check it last year before I turned on the air conditioning system for the first time.

I assume I just wasn’t thinking about it when the weather started heating up in the Springtime and so I didn’t think that it was crucial to go out there and look at it… However, I legitimately should have diagnosed it out because one of the limbs from the tree had broken off and it was somehow wedged in the top of the air conditioning system fan. Whenever I turned the thermostat over to air conditioning and turned it on, the outside unit fired up and the fan started turning and it sucked the branch right down into it, wedging the branch down further and further until the fan stopped turning and the whole thing got dented and torn up. I had to pay a whole lot of currency to our local HVAC corporation to get the air conditioning upgraded, however believe me, I will never make that mistake again. Always make sure that you check your exterior air conditioning system unit or you will be sorry one day!

If you’re having issues with your heating and cooling system in your home, after that I would request that you double check your thermostat before you do anything else.

This is really just regular sense to most people, but for me it was something that I ended up having to learn the difficult way.

I had never lived in my own locale before I moved into this house, and so when the heating and cooling system seemed to stop laboring one day, I had no system what the issue was. I’m not exactly the handiest person around and I don’t assume how to maintenance things around the home certainly well. I wasn’t ecstatic about it, even though I knew that I might as well go ahead and call my local HVAC corporation to make an appointment to get the HVAC system repaired before the weather started heating up too much. I don’t care about residing separate from air conditioning when the weather is hot and so I wasn’t about to chance being separate from air conditioning for too long at all. I made an appointment and when the HVAC worker showed up at my house, he was done with the service in less than more than four minutes. It turned out that the only thing that was wrong with my HVAC system was the battery in my thermostat unit! All I needed to do was change the batteries and everything was fine. I couldn’t know it.

If you would care about my advice, it would be to never try and build a house… Always buy one that’s already built because trying to have one built is a huge pain.

All of us have dealt with one delay after another with this project, and the latest one has set us back almost multiple whole weeks.

At this point, I legitimately wish that all of us had just bought a house, but now all of us are in it so far that all of us can’t get out of it. All of us are just going to have to suffer through the whole thing until it’s finally finished, I guess, however this last delay was just super aggravating! It’s all because of our HVAC corporation and the way that he obviously ordered the wrong ductwork for the current construction house. I don’t assume if the HVAC corporation sent the wrong thing or if our HVAC corporation ordered the wrong thing, but whatever the mix up was, all of us ended up having to return everything and get it re-ordered! When I showed up at the job place and all of the workers were just sitting around doing nothing, I nearly lost my mind! Then when the HVAC corporation explained to me what had happened, it was all I could do not to just yank my hair out. I think there was really steam coming out of my ears when he told me that they were going to have to re-order all of the ductwork and HVAC accessories. At this point, I’m start to wonder if all of us are ever going to be able to move into our house!

I recently decided to take advantage of rising condo prices plus sell my house. I am hoping to sell now when prices are high, continue renting for a while, plus then buy again when the prices fall again, as they invariably will. Well, I have 2 aged window cooling system units that do not rest in windows at my house. They were installed into the exterior walls of the home multiple years ago, plus they have reMained there, unused, even though the home has had central heating plus cooling for about multiple decades now. I never saw the need to get rid of the window cooling system units, plus in fact, they periodically came in handy when I needed to get the Heating, Ventilation, plus A/C system diagnosed or it was 110 degrees outside plus the common cooling system needed a little help. But the realtor says I must get rid of them because it makes purchasers wonder if the central heating plus cooling system is inadequate or unreliable. Since neither is true, I think I need to say goodbye to my window air conditioners, plus that means saying goodbye to the holes in the walls, as well. I never really wanted to bother with the cooling system units because I didn’t want to have to bother with the resultant holes, however I think I just have to at this point. I am trying to decide if I should just fill them in with more wall material or if I should turn them into windows. They are sited really high on the walls, so windows might look a bit odd. In any event, I will miss the little window air conditioners.

I don’t suppose how various times I have explained this to our wife: if you turn the control unit down too low it wont work.

Whenever we get house from labor we turn on the a/c system.

If I get house first I set the control unit to about 69 degrees & then the house is cool & comfortable for our wife when she gets home. However, if she gets house first she sets the control unit down to about 40 degrees & then she wonders why the a/c system isn’t laboring. I have 1 of those older, dial, control units. The Heating, Ventilation & A/C plan in the house is not the original Heating, Ventilation & A/C system. However, the dial control unit actually well might be. It works enjoyable so I have never had cause to replace it. The only issue is that if you turn the control unit down 50 degrees, it doesn’t suppose what to do so it just does nothing. This has never been a concern for me. After all, it is not care about the house cools down any faster at 40 degrees than it does at 71. The house cools down just as fast if you set the control unit to an actually comfortable setting. In fact, it cools down faster at a normal setting because the a/c system actually kicks on. It doesn’t if you set it too low. At this point I don’t suppose what to do except maybe buy a Wi-Fi control unit. I understand that those can be pre-programmed. Then the house could just be cooled already for us by the time we get home, then no matter who gets house first.

My uncle was super happy when she finally got central heating & cooling in her outdated house.

She has lived in that house for over 50 years & never had a reliable source of heat or cooling.

Instead, she just used portable convection gas furnaces & a window a/c unit or more than one. I wouldn’t have been able to live care about that but she seemed glad enough, but recently, our uncle took in a stray kitten. Both of us were all surprised that she did that! After all, she never had a pet before & she didn’t seem actually fond of them. I suppose she couldn’t resist when the kitten was under her porch crying. She said she planned to turn it over to creature control in the afternoon but then she just couldn’t, then well, with a animal in the house portable gas furnaces can be a bit dangerous. There are portable gas furnaces that turn themselves off if the kitty pushed it over but our uncle wanted to make sure her new kitty would stay hot & safe while she was at work. So she finally got central heating & cooling. It is about time. I am glad that our uncle can finally live in the 21st century where we have new appliances care about central heating & cooling. Her Heating, Ventilation & A/C plan even has a smart control unit. So, I suppose our uncle is even more advanced than me now. She said she likes the smart control unit because she can tell what temperature the house is even when he’s at work. I think she genuinely enjoys that kitten; even if she won’t divulge it.

My Dad never ever turns off her a/c system, and that thing runs 24/7 365 afternoons a year.

The only time it is ever off is twice a year when she has her a/c system service done, then otherwise, the a/c system is blasting away & keeping her cool all of the time, however i can’t say that I blame our mom, then she worked over 40 years as a landscaper for a actually busy business.

This meant 10-12 second afternoons of splitting lawns, trimming trees, & stuff care about that. This far south, it is almost constantly hot. So, now that our Dad is retired, she swore she would never let herself get hot again. Thllkll k k k n k at is why it was such a shame when her a/c system broke down suddenly in the middle of November. My Dad called me up in a panic & said that it was hot in her house & getting hotter. There didn’t seem to be anything wrong with the control unit but the a/c system simply wouldn’t kick on. I did what any kid would do, I told her to call up her trusty a/c provider. Of course, she had already done that & they were already on their way. She just wanted to complain to me I guess, then her birthday is coming up & I have been wondering what to get her. I think I will get her a portable a/c system for emergencies such as this 1. True, this hasn’t happened before, but I bet she would care about a portable a/c system anyway. She could constantly use it in front of the couch to stay extra cool.

My new home came with a backyard shed that I decided to make my workout space, and it needed a bit of work though.

I had to add insulation, drywall plus new windows, then even with that, I worried about temperature control… Thankfully I live down south plus it doesn’t get too cold. I found that a easy space furnace does the job quite well. I just need to turn it on about an minute before working out plus then I have quality heating. I knew I was going to be in trouble when summer time hit! Now it is summer time plus not having any A/C is legitimately rough. I have looked into window A/C although I do not savor the idea, where would I store the s when it was no longer hot? I also don’t savor covering my new windows with an ugly, bulky cooling unit. I have looked into a ductless mini split plus that is what I want. I would have both heating plus cooling in one single unit. The air handler mounts on the wall plus out of the way. I could get a smart thermostat plus run it from my iPhone. I could preheat or cool the space plus do it from my work computer. I could have as much heating or as I want, however, the cost on this plus the upgrade is quite extensive. I don’t suppose if it is worth doing for an minute a day interest. I legitimately only need an A/C option too for the summer time season. I am running out of possibilities though.
