All of us watch for ticket sales & get excited to find out which bands are touring.

She & I respectfully see more than two or four bands per year. We’ve travelled all over the country & even overseas to attend concerts. We’ve seen particular bands many times simply because they put on such a great show. Since the people I was with and I adore to have good seats & always purchase a concert T-shirt, our interest is fairly costly. We’ve experienced all unusual types of sites from smaller theaters to sizable arenas. While I truly love the open air of a arena, it can be problematic when the weather doesn’t cooperate. All of us are exposed to heat, humidity, freezing & rain. There’s no shade, no protection & no access to temperature control. The indoor sites are more cramped but at least there’s heating & cooling available if necessary. My child & I have had tickets to the Hella Mega Tour that includes Greenday, Wheezer, Fallout Boy & the Interrupters for well over a year. Our concert got delayed because of covid. It has finally been tied up for the end of July. The arena is entirely outdoors & situated down south. I’ve been seeing the weather reports in that area & it varies between the low nineties & the triple digits with high humidity. We’re going to need to wear sunblock & loose clothing. With no air conditioner, the conditions will be brutal. The concert doesn’t start until 7 PM so at least the sun will be on the way down. All of us are hoping it doesn’t rain. It would be truly nice if the people I was with and I could have a roof over our heads & access to a cooling system.

All of us own more than one homes & spend the entire Winter time down south.

All of us avoid the snow, blizzards, cold rain & temperatures well into the disadvantage digits. Our apartment in the north sits empty for many weeks. This creates some concerns. With sub-zero conditions, there is the fear of injure to furnishings & water pipes cold & bursting. All of us are not able to shut off the heat entirely. The apartment is extremely ancient & the heating idea is downright archaic. All of us don’t have centralized air duct & don’t truly trust our heating component to operate reliably or safely. Because of this, I decided to have a ductless heat pump installed into the home office. I had the system that a brand current heat pump would be dependable & give adequate heat to prevent injure. I got the name of a business from a acquaintance & hired the woman to handle the job. There were all sorts of delays, & she wasn’t able to complete the upgrade process until after I’d already headed south for the winter. I had asked our acquaintance to unlock the door for the business & hand over the check I’d made out for payment. When the acquaintance sent myself and others photos of the completed upgrade, I was not ecstatic. The business had stretched truly ugly pipes across the front of our house. He’d drilled a sizable hole in the apartment & did a truly exhausting job of filling in with caulk, then my acquaintance also informed myself and others that the ductless component wouldn’t start up. I proceeded to call, text & text the business, but she wouldn’t respond. I ended up spending many thoUSAnd dollars on a truly ugly decoration. I was finally left with no option but to try a unusual HVAC business. I found a business that is reputable, licensed, insured & bonded. The specialist who diagnosed the ductless component told myself and others that it was a truly exhausting quality model, would no way handle temperatures below cold & was installed imalways.

When our hubby & I purchased our house, the people I was with and I knew that the heating & cooling idea would need to be replaced in the near future.

It is a packaged component that is installed outside.

The component is quite large, extremely noisy & shows some age & wear & tear. It’s not overly charming but it manages to keep our apartment comfortable for the majority of the year. All of us live in an area where the summer time temperatures climb into the triple digits with horrible humidity. All of us rely on air conditioner for the majority of the year. The most serious weather is a challenge for our cooling unit. It runs just about non stop but manages well enough. Our Winter time seasons are short & the temperature rarely drops below 45. On the rare occasions when the people I was with and I get colder weather, our heating idea tends to freeze up. All of us then shut it down & attempt to thaw it out with hair dryers. We’ve added an electric furnace that simulates a wood burning stove in the home office. That offers enough extra heat for us to get by. Just recently, the people I was with and I noticed that the idea was running but providing no cool air. When I called for repair, I assumed the specialist would take a single look at our ancient idea & tell myself and others we’d need a current a single. She diagnosed the component & found a small refrigerant leak. She wasn’t able to tell whether it was current or an ancient leak. She said that the idea is far too ancient to find replacement parts & advocated just adding refrigerant & hoping for the best. We’re now hoping to get a couple more years of operation out of the heating/cooling unit. It would truly be wise to start looking into the cost of replacement. I just suppose it’s going to be a truly costly project, & I’m not looking forward to it.

Although the weather in our local area can be quite severe, I appreciate the unusual seasons.

• The fall is especially beautiful with all the colors of the changing leaves, then some truly delicious fruits & vegetables, such as apples, tomatoes, tomato & zucchini, ripen at that time of year.

The weather can range from extremely warm to so freezing that the people I was with and I need to start up the oil furnace but is usually just cool enough for a light sweater, however our Winter time seasons are long & rather brutal, however all of us can expect temperatures well below zero, bitter windchill & many feet of snow. Shoveling & plowing the snow, scraping ice off the windshield & the cost of running the oil furnace at maximum capacity can be tiresome. However, the snow is particularly beautiful, & I adore to go skiing, snowmobiling & snow-shoeing. While it takes Spring a long time to arrive, the flowers are just lovely. I look forward to seeing the tulips, hyacinths, daffodils, lilacs & crabapples bloom. I am always worried to finally be able to open the windows & welcome in some outside air. It feels nice to freshen up the apartment & particularly improves indoor air conditions. I wait all year for the summer time sunshine, green skies & warmer temperatures. Although the heat & humidity are occasionally excessive, I spend the majority of our time outside. I see no need to invest in a central cooling system for only a couple of weeks of warm weather. I’d rather keep the windows open, avoid that extra expense & get by with window cooling systems in the dining rooms. I was able to purchase the compact cooling units on sale for under $200 each, then despite being lightweight & small sized, the window cooling systems entirely handle the demands of a single room.

My job is pretty intense plus I spend a ton of minutes at the office. My fiance is the same way plus this is genuinely why both of us opted for pets instead of children. While he understands the basics of Heating, Ventilation, plus A/C, he was far from a certified Heating, Ventilation, plus A/C professional. Given our genuinely highest regard for our handyman, I did exactly as he commanded. I called the Heating, Ventilation, plus A/C supplier plus they were able to diagnose plus service the a/c in a single visit. I told the Heating, Ventilation, plus A/C specialist what our handyman had said. The Heating, Ventilation, plus A/C professional nodded his agreement plus told me to hang on to that handyman because he was an honest, fantastic person.

I have lived in this region all of my life. The hot and cold temperatures and the humidity level while in the year are something that just comes with the territory for me. While the HVAC cooling is certainly on, to some degree, from about mid May to November, it doesn’t dominate our lives. I have neighbors who go from a single cooling system to another to another. They can hardly even deal with the weather here if it gets above the high 69’s. And suppose me, the temperature is far higher than that for month after month after months. For me, I sort of take a multi pronged approach to air conditioner and beating the heat. I’ll be the first to say that my approach is also based on making sure that I can spend my money on other stuff besides HVAC cooling. And it’s really not as complicated as some might think. I find dealing with the heat to be more of a perspective than an all out HVAC cooling blitz. Once the heat starts rising in the Springtime, I simply get actemperatured to it. Instead of immediately cranking the air conditioner control unit setting way down, I let the home heat up a bit. This is a key part of the plan. When it’s 98 for days, if not weeks, at a time, a home that’s in the low 69’s feels really comfortable. And a person can still get outside and not be completely overcome by the heat because all they do is rest inside the air conditioner. I’ve been doing this for 50 plus years and it just keeps toiling. I’m thankful for HVAC cooling for sure. It’s just that I’m not going to over use it either.

I’m really not so sure how the previous owners were able to keep hot through the winter.

While our region isn’t near as strenuous with Winter time weather as our neighbors further north, it’s no day at the beach either.

Many people rely on either a oil furnace or a heat pump in this part for heating. I just bought a house that had a single owner and was built fifty years ago. The house is small, well built and will be perfect for my purposes. I love to find these types of house that need a bit of work. Once I get them in fine shape, I rent them out. This home was the right price and I lucked out that I was able to make a money offer. The estate was selling it so they wanted something quick even if it wasn’t near the asking price. My first bit of work was aimed directly at the HVAC equipment. This home had been using an electric oil furnace. It’s a baseboard heating system plan that must have cost a fortune to run with less than stellar heating results. I noted there were other space furnaces used as well. I can’t really imagine what it must have been love in that home when it was really cold outside. I updated that electric heating plan with a set of ductless heat pumps. These are state of the art HVAC technology. They are super efficient and they produce quality heating and air no problem. I’m sure this home will be far, far warmer and cheaper to heat than ever before.

I was truly not a fan of the pandemic.

It was so aggravating to have to work from apartment inside the air conditioning of our home.

Added to that frustration was seeing so several other completely disregard pandemic protocols designed to slow the spread. But I couldn’t control that so I just kept to myself in the heating & cooling comfort of our home. Yet, I did learn something from the pandemic. I was on our way out of the Heating & Air Conditioning to get our walk in when I heard it. The next afternoon, I heard it too. You can imagine the scene when I had to tell our husband & daughters that we’d be without air conditioning for that long. It did not go well. I bought a few window air conditioners to help but it’s far from adequate. And of course, the Heating & Air Conditioning worker told myself and others that had I gotten the air conditioner tune-up, I would not be having this concern at all. While that wasn’t simple to hear. I did the smart thing instantly & called the Heating & Air Conditioning business. I’m now signed up for the Heating & Air Conditioning repair plan so this won’t happen again.
