I had the worst week at work. If anything and everything could go wrong, it did and would. However, I am just so thankful that there is one thing I seem to be able to rely on. And that is my central heating and air conditioning system in my home! I just bought this central heating and air conditioning system of mine and it is fabulous! It really helps me relax in the perfect indoor comfort after a long work day or work week. It is guaranteed to work with no issues for at least 5 years. And if an issue does come up, I am covered under the HVAC protection plan that I bought to go with it. I will not have to pay a cent for the repair or any part replacements. This is the benefit of getting a brand new and up to date central heating and air conditioning system unit. Nothing can beat it. If you have an older heat and a/c unit and you think it is fine, think again. That is what I thought as well before I bought this brand new and up to date central heating and air conditioning system. The technology of heating and cooling is always changing, and to be up to date is the best way to go always. That is why i did what I did and why I now have a very reliable central heating and air conditioning system in my home with no worries in the world. This will be fine for quite a while and I always know that no matter what, my HVAC system will always be great.

I could not believe it when I found my neighbor the other week throwing away a perfectly good portable space heater! I asked them why they were throwing it out, and they said it was just old junk taking up space.

I told them that if they did not mind, I would take the portable space heater off of their hands instead of wasting it by throwing it out.

They laughed at me and said “sure, go for it”. So I took the portable space heater, cleaned it off and tried it out. And indeed it was just as it looked. Perfectly good as new! I do not understand why people throw away things that are not broken just to clear space. They could give things to someone who needs them. Like me, I wanted to buy a portable space heater but I had not got around to doing so. Now I have a perfectly working space heater in my home for free. I did not have to pay a cent for it and I feel great about it. This portable space heater is going to come in handy when the cold long winters come in a few months or so. I am going to use it with my central heating. I will run the central heating half the time and this very powerful portable space heater the other half of the time and end up saving a lot of money on my monthly electric bills. My neighbor has no idea of the benefits of portable space heaters. It is ok though. It is their loss and my gain!

When going to buy any kind of heating equipment, the best time to do so is in the summer time months of the year. So many heating and air conditioning outlets have sales going on at that time because no one is thinking about heating that time of year. Especially if you live in an area that has hot summers. That is the case where I live. And I am glad that I do for this reason. Because I am wanting to buy radiant heated floors for next winter. Right now the local heating and air conditioning company has a special going on radiant heated floors. If I order the radiant heated floors now and schedule the installation as well, I can save up to 50 percent off what everything would cost if I were to order the radiant heated floors in the fall or smack in the middle of the winter. So this is what I am doing. I have everything scheduled to happen in a few weeks from now. There is going to be some construction needed in my house to get the radiant heated floors that I have ordered so I am going to stay with a friend for a week while they work on doing what they need to do to instal the radiant heated floors in my home. Once I get the radiant heated floors I will of course not use them until the cold winter months. But they are going to be so beneficial to me, especially in the cold mornings that will be ahead. Radiant heated floors are the answer to all for heating in my opinion.

It was always impressive seeing how smart our son was.

He enjoyed putting things together and he dove into science projects.

He made all kinds of amazing gadgets and always said that he wanted to be an inventor or a scientist. When he made a school project which was a makeshift cooling system, I thought he would make a fine HVAC professional. He actually did end up going to school to become HVAC certified, but he ended up becoming an HVAC engineer. These days he works hard to improve HVAC systems with greater energy efficiency and overall improved convenience for people using the HVAC equipment. He has helped to incorporate different smart features for these systems and things of that nature. He never ceases to amaze us with the things he does. He even worked on our HVAC system and installed a very fancy smart thermostat that he helped to design. The smart thermostat saves us a huge amount of money on our energy bills and I love that you can talk to the thermostat and tell it what the temperature control settings need to be. With my old thermostat, I had a hard time because the buttons would stick and also it was difficult for me to read the small print on the screen. This new thermostat has a sizable screen and the numbers are nice and big so I know exactly what the temperature is supposed to be. I’m thankful for my son who has worked so hard to be successful in his life and I hope things continue to go well for him.

I wasn’t sure about getting a new smart thermostat so long ago, but a friend talked me into it.

• I was planning on having an HVAC professional come out to install the thing when I got it, but my friend also laughed and told me how easy the installation was.

I ended up reading the manual but I was having a hard time figuring everything out. My buddy ended up coming over to my place to help me out. He showed me an online installation video that made everything so much easier. It wasn’t especially challenging after watching the video, but I still don’t feel comfortable with doing any kind of HVAC work or installations. I had a hard time even cleaning my outdoor A/C condenser unit. Well, I have to admit that I am happy that I decided to get this new smart thermostat per my buddy’s recommendation. The energy bills have dropped a good amount which is surprising. I love how I can control my temperature control settings on my phone no matter where I happen to be. I find myself just checking on the system when I go places so that I know everything is working as it should. The smart thermostat will actually give me updates on the smart app which is wonderful. It tells me when I should think about getting my HVAC maintenance and when I should change the air filters. It’s all really neat and I wished I had something like this much sooner, but I guess I was late into the game as far as using a smart thermostat.

Something that is absolutely revolutionary is the DIY ductless mini split system. This is actually a smart HVAC system where you can easily install the smart device directly into the wall units in your home. Each wall unit will have its own signature on your wifi system and you can communicate directly to your HVAC units and adjust the temperature control settings on your smart app. What makes these systems so revolutionary though is the fact that they are easy to install, are extremely energy efficient, and the price just cannot be beat! Also the line sets have precompressed refrigerant meaning you don’t even need an HVAC professional to come out to do that part of the installation. You literally can do everything on your own! The installation is easy enough for the average homeowner with basic skills and basic tools. All you really need is a hole saw, hand drill, screwdriver, adjustable wrenches and a bit of go getter attitude to install this type of system! Just make sure to watch the installation video very carefully and follow everything closely and you shouldn’t have any issues. One thing to be extra cautious about is not breaking the line sets. You want to make sure they are securely connected before letting the refrigerant into the lines. If you have refrigerant leaks, this could be risky for your health as this could lead to refrigerant poisoning which can be fatal. Just keep that in mind when dealing with refrigerants, always check for leaks with a soapy water spray bottle and you will be golden!

I honestly never thought about it much until I moved out on my own, but I have a major dependence on heating and cooling equipment.

I guess everybody does when you think about it, at least Americans do. I’ve heard in other countries, a lot of people don’t believe in the use of HVAC systems for a need, but those genuinely are countries in more tolerable climates I suppose or countries that are just too poor to afford things like HVAC systems. Of course in America, it is standard to have this type of comfort in all homes, at least heating systems are standard. I realize there are still places even in our country where they don’t have cooling systems. There are some places though where the weather is just perfect all the time and you can easily just get away with using a humidifier for comfort and stationary fans. Me on the other hand, I need to have my comfort! I honestly can’t bear the feeling of having too much humidity in the house along with it feeling incredibly overheated in the summer months. I live in a place where it gets incredibly uncomfortable during both peak seasons. This is why I regularly call the HVAC company to have my HVAC tuned up before the heating and cooling seasons so that I know I will have no issues. I would be very upset if I had my HVAC system break down on me and I was not able to be comfortable in my home. That will never happen though if I can help it.

The other day I went to hang out with a friend I haven’t seen in a long time.

He was telling me how amazing his new hybrid HVAC system was.

I didn’t know anything about hybrid HVAC systems until he started telling me all about it. He said he basically has a gas furnace that works along with a ductless mini split system. He says that the ductless mini split does all the work for the heating in his house until the temperature drops below 40 degrees. At that point in time, it actually becomes more energy efficient to use the gas furnace for heating, so the gas furnace automatically boots up and the ductless mini split turns off. Both of these systems will never run simultaneously, and therefore it is a hybrid HVAC system. It sounds like the coolest thing like out of some futuristic magazine or something, but this is the technology we have these days! I mean honestly, after he explained how this system works and how energy efficient it is, I felt like I should go for something similar. Another thing that makes these systems so efficient is the fact that they have variable speed technology. This means the house will be heated or cooled at different rates depending on the demand to achieve optimal comfort levels and maximum energy efficiency. It truly is a remarkable system and it is a genuine breakthrough in the HVAC industry. I genuinely can’t wait until I can brag to all my buddies about my new hybrid HVAC system when I finally get all the money together to have one installed.

We have all these smart systems that make life easier for us, and the voice control technology is impressive. Artificial Intelligence does seem to be taking the world by storm, but these systems are highly beneficial. I’m particularly impressed with smart HVAC systems. I love how the smart thermostat can link in with your smart technology and control everything with the HVAC system, including smart blinds. These blinds are perfect to have for energy saving in your home because they will coordinate with the smart thermostat to make sure the sun heating doesn’t cause the HVAC system to overwork. The blinds will naturally open when the sun’s rays are not hitting the windows directly. Also, you can easily speak commands to your smart thermostat and it will follow your commands precisely, so long as they are valid commands. I mean obviously you couldn’t ask the thermostat to deliver you a cheeseburger from checkers or something like that, but you actually can do that with other smart devices like Alexa, and these devices are compatible with the smart HVAC system! These days, everything seems to be coming together in a beautiful sort of way. I figure that soon, we will have newer HVAC technologies that are more low profile and even more energy efficient than the most energy efficient HVAC systems we have today, and I can’t wait to see where the HVAC industry takes us.

I have a nice workshop in my garage. The thing is, it wasn’t hooked up with a good cooling system. For a long time, I had just been using this old portable A/C unit, and this thing was not energy efficient in the least. The energy bills were costly because of it, but I had to have a way to keep cool while working in my shop. I do all kinds of odd jobs for people and it’s necessary for me to work on things in the shop all the time. So recently I thought I should upgrade to a better cooling system. I considered getting a professional installation, but I thought why do something like that when there are actual DIY HVAC systems available on the market these days. I looked into it and the ductless mini splits seemed to be promising. So I ended up buying one of these DIY model HVAC systems and had it delivered to my home. The packaging was excellent and the system appeared to be in great shape with no visible damage to anything. I watched the installation video that was provided online and the thing honestly was a piece of cake. I mean, I know a thing or two about electrical work and things of that nature, but I swear that my 10 year old child could figure out this installation! Seriously, it was that easy and if I had only known that, I would have done this a long time ago. Now with the ductless mini split working in my shop, I am perfectly comfortable and it’s easier for me to work. Also my energy bills have gone down way more than I thought they would which is amazing!
