My regular yoga studio closed down for some remodeling, so the instructor has been holding the class at a YMCA building across town.

The building is an extra 20 minute drive for me and it can be difficult to get to class on time.

I started leaving work about 20 minutes early, so I had plenty of time to make the drive. My yoga instructor teaches beginner, intermediate, and advanced yoga classes. I absolutely enjoy my time in class and I feel like it is the only time during the day when I feel relaxed and carefree. When the regular yoga studio is open, I usually attend the intermediate and the advanced yoga class. I would attend the beginner class as well, but it is way too easy. Since they have been holding the class at the YMCA building, I’ve only been attending the advanced classes. It’s too much on my schedule to attend another class when the drive is all the way across town. I could only leave work 10 minutes early on Tuesday, and I was already running late when I started driving to the class. About three cars in front of me, I saw a cement truck. The cement truck was trying to pass the semi truck in front of him. The driver of the semi truck hit the brakes just as the cement truck was passing and there was a collision. The cement truck fell over on its side and traffic was rerouted into one lane. I was close to the front of the line thankfully, but the delay still made me miss the entire class. I drove all the way over there and everyone was leaving as I walked in the door.

 

Personal Fitness Programs

My friend Jack used to work at a fitness center downtown.

Jack had 15 or 20 different clients that he tended to as a personal fitness trainer.

Jack wanted a raise and the owner of the fitness center denied the request. Jack threatened to leave the company and take all of his clients, but the owner of the fitness center did not believe the threat was real. Jack decided to walk out of the office and he never went back to work. A few weeks later, Jack told me that he was going to start offering his own fitness classes. He planned to rent a space in town and he was going to offer classes every day. Jack thought it was time to start a business of his own and I agreed to help in any way possible. I helped set up the fitness center and I take care of the paperwork, billing, and financial records. I will probably start working full-time after the business grows. I know it is only a matter of time, because each month Jack is making more money and there are more members joining the fitness club each week. Jack is the only person that offers private fitness classes and group fitness classes at the same building, so it doesn’t surprise me that he is doing well. He also doesn’t charge a fortune and there are no monthly membership fees. It is the type of place where you pay for each class and you don’t have to worry about being stuck with a membership if you lose interest 8 weeks later.

Both of us are going to be hosting a large football get together next weekend, then last year, we didn’t get to have our annual get together because of the whole annoying pandemic thing. This year, we are going to double up and have an even better get together than every one of us usually do! Both of us are regularly going to do this get together because it’s our favorite time of the year plus football is our favorite athletic interest. We get to see all kinds of people at this get together because they just seem to come out of the woodwork to come and hang out with us and eat our food! My husband regularly makes great chicken wings for this get together and they are basically famous in this area, anyway, since we are having this football get together and the weather is really cooling off at this point, we want to make sure that the heating and a/c is going to be working the right way. We’ve been having some issues with our heating system and we wanted to make sure that it was going to be working properly with the get together coming up, and nobody wants to have a house full of people and no heating when the outside temperatures are getting cold! I feel that would be okay in some weather conditions, but not around here. We have to really make sure that our heating system works the right way because the temperatures here routinely get below freezing. That means that all of the people in our house would be freezing too if our furnace wasn’t working properly!

This year, we are going to double up and have an even better party than we usually do! We are always going to do this party because it’s our favorite time of the year and football is our favorite activity, we get to see all kinds of people at this party because they just seem to come out of the woodwork to come and hang out with us and eat our food, my husband always makes fantastic chicken wings for this party and they are basically famous in this area. Anyway, since we are having this football party and the weather is undoubtedly cooling off at this point, we want to make sure that the heating and air conditioner system is finally working the right way. We’ve been having some concerns with my heating system and we wanted to make sure that it was finally working correctly with the party coming up. Nobody wants to have a home full of people and no heating when the outside temperatures are getting cold! I assume that would be okay in some places, but not around here. All of us have to undoubtedly make sure that our heating system works the right way because the temperatures here routinely get below chilly. That means that all of the people in our home would be chilly too if our gas furnace wasn’t finally working correctly!

I don’t know if I’m having a midlife crisis or what. I have decided that I’m going to move in with our long distance boyfriend next week. I have been thinking about doing it for a long time, but I’ve just been putting it off for some reason. I want to be able to live comfortably, that’s for sure. I’m getting older and now is the time that I don’t want to have to worry about all kinds of stuff and that includes my heating and air conditioning system. I have been having a ton of problems with my heating and air conditioning method in the home where I’m living now, and honestly, the problems that I’m having with the furnace and the air conditioner method are driving me bonkers. I don’t want to have to deal with the heating and air conditioning company any more. I know that sounds terrible, but that’s just where I’m at in our life right now. I love my guy, but I have always liked to have my own independence. I know that if I move in with him, that’s going to be a little bit different, my independence is going to be subdued just a little bit, and that’s just something that happens whenever you move in with someone else. But at this point, the fact that my long distance guy just installed a brand new high efficiency heating and cooling method goes a long way. Whenever he told me that he had a whole home air purification method installed to run in tandem with the heating and cooling system, that’s what actually won me over! Now I’m getting all packed up as well as ready to go. If I never have to deal with another heating and air conditioning company again, it will be good with me!

I don’t know if I’m having a midlife crisis or what, but I have decided that I’m going to move in with our long distance boyfriend next week.

I have been thinking about doing it for a long time, but I’ve just been putting it off for some reason.

I want to be able to live comfortably, that’s for sure. I’m getting older and now is the time that I don’t want to have to worry about all kinds of stuff and that includes our HVAC system. I have been having a ton of troubles with my HVAC plan in the home where I’m residing now. Honestly, the troubles that I’m having with the gas furnace and the air conditioner plan are driving me bonkers. I don’t want to have to deal with the HVAC business any more. I know that sounds terrible, but that’s just where I’m at in my life right now. I love my boyfriend, but I have constantly liked to have my own independence. I think that if I move in with him, that’s going to be a little bit different. My independence is going to be subdued just a little bit, then that’s just something that happens whenever you move in with someone else. But at this point, the fact that my long distance boyfriend just installed a brand new high efficiency heating and cooling plan goes a really long way. When he told me that he had a whole home air purification plan installed to run in tandem with the heating and cooling system, that’s what really won me over! Now I’m getting all packed up as well as ready to go. If I never have to deal with another HVAC business again, it will be good with me!
