When the pandemic started winding down, my fiance was coming home, but my kids were still home.
When my partner plus I moved into our home, the two of us didn’t have air duct so the two of us knew the two of us couldn’t get central air conditioning system. We bought a window air conditioning system unit for our living room plus a single for our living room. They kept our loft cool all Summer long. We never put them on high because it got too cold. As our family grew, so did the number of air conditioning system units. We now had window a/cs in all 3 living rooms plus in the living room. I planned on purchasing a single for my loft office. Once the pandemic hit, having an a/c in my office was a single of the smartest moves I had ever made. I was spending 75% of my time in the office with the door closed, trying to get some work done. My kid was locked up in his room with the tablet, trying to learn something. My kid was in her room supposedly taking online college classes. I had a funny feeling she was talking to her bestie more than she was studying. My fiance was still working at the hospital since he was area of the essential workers team. When the pandemic started winding down, my fiance was coming home, but my kids were still home. One evening, he brought loft a window air conditioning system unit so the two of us could have a single in the living room. We were spending a lot of time in the living room where the two of us sat as a family plus played games. My fiance would be cooking with them when he was home. We now have a single a/c in every room of the house.
