The smart thermostat helps us save cash

At the insistence of our Heating and A/C provider, our wife and I decided to buy a smart thermostat for our new heating and cooling machine.

Every one of us study the entire pamphlet which included ways to save energy. My wife and I joined a website online and registered our device for energy savings. Neither one of us were aware that the online website could change the temperature of our thermostat remotely. My wife and I went to lay down for a nap yepterday afternoon. Every one of us woke up around 5 and both of us were dripping with sweat. It was 77 degrees inside of the house, even though the two of us had the thermostat set at 69. The temperature on the smart thermostat was 77 degrees, so our wife and I thought there was a glitch in the system. I programmed the thermostat for 69° again and the cooling system came on. About an minute later, our wife and I noticed that it was getting warmer inside of the home again. The thermostat was once again standing at 77 degrees. I decided to search online for some answers and I hastily realized why the problem was occurring. Since our region was in the middle of a heat wave, the two of us were told to adjust the indoor temperature to 77 degrees to conserve energy. When our wife and I joined the online program, the two of us provided them permission to remotely change the temperature in our home. Every one of us hastily unjoined the repair and website after realizing our mistake.
