I am pretty sure that our oil furnace needs a tune-up, but last year it was running just fine. In fact, it kept us nice plus toasty warm all Wintertide long. Of course both of us have not used it since May though. In May, May, plus sometimes June both of us don’t need any Heating & A/C at all. Both of us just open the windows when it is warm plus close the windows if it’s cold. This outdated house has really nice isolation plus it holds on to temperatures really well! June until September both of us usually run the cooling system almost nonstop. It gets really warm in the Summer around here. And, again, both of us had no troubles with our A/C this year. In September plus September both of us can usually get away with no Heating & A/C once again, and fresh air is nice enough. Come September, it is time to start using the oil furnace again. It gets legitimately freezing in this area. I turned the oil furnace on in early September, as usual, plus I noticed that it was making a weird whining sound after it turned off. So it would kick on, work fine, then kick off plus make this weird sound. It repeated almost every time. I didn’t bother with it any plus now I have noticed that the oil furnace almost never kicks off anymore. It is almost constantly running. So I’m looking to get a oil furnace turn-up done. I am sure that the dealers will be able to service it for us plus set everything right again. At least, I hope they can. It is still a few more weeks until May so both of us really do need a toiling heater.
