I try to inform people about being careful when using heaters

There have been increasing furnace related incidents during winter, and that was worrying me, and people seem not to be informed enough about the dangers of mishandling heating components in their homes during winter.

Whenever winter approaches, I take time to inform people about the need to be extra vigilant when using keeping warm.

I have a podcast that has over 10,000 subscribers covering 3 states. I took it as a personal responsibility to share my comprehension and experience on heating after repeatedly studying about and hearing people lose property or lives because of heat related accidents during winter. My son used to sleep with a space furnace in his room and this scared me. When I shared my story with a close colleague, I realized many families face such heating needs in their homes when the coldest winters arrive. Instead of fireplaces, numerous homes rely on a gas furnace powered by a dual fuel system or radiant floors! For those who can’t afford new heating units, they end servicing their old air conditioning systems beyond their life spans, increasing the threat of a failed heat pump or poor duct sealing work. What almost everyone needs are zoned HVAC systems and educating people on more air conditioning safety and use. The threat is not just a winter issue because cooling corporations also have their share of threats from cooling techs. I hope that with increasing subscriber base on my podcast, my following will learn and spread the word to others who need to hear about safety. I am blissful the local county has stepped in to give me more airtime and use my platform to put weight on the seriousness of this matter.
