Being in denial about how excruciating our corporation needed modern cooling equipment

I started a small Mexican restaurant two years ago downtown, and it’s been a real hit locally.

My customers rave about everything from my quesadillas to my huevos rancheros, but especially my carne asada tacos! However, ever since I bought the space for my restaurant, I knew I may eventually have to replace the HVAC system, because it was not in the best of shape.

I change the air filter often, so the air quality is good, and I even had customers comment on the fact that the air was fresh and breezy instead of all stuffy. At least the filter was doing an impeccable job, but some issues remained. I called an HVAC repairman, and he agreed to take a look at the system after closing time.. Part of me knew the problem, even though I was still hoping he would tell me something different. I wanted him to say that the HVAC equipment was somehow salvageable for at least another couple years, because I didn’t want to spend the money on a new one. Still, I had already been looking for a replacement; I just simply didn’t want to spend the money. Don’t get me wrong, business was good, but I just didn’t want to shell out the money. In the end though, as you would expect, the HVAC specialist knew that there was no salvaging the old equipment, and we began to take a look at alternatives. I actually settled on a very energy efficient and powerful new air conditioner!
