The people I was with and I entirely had to go into the woods all the time to collect wood, take down trees as well as cut them up to have a constant supply of firewood, otherwise the two of us wouldn’t make it through the Winter months. The people I was with and I barely had enough money to get enough groceries to put food on the table. And for special occasions, the two of us opted to go to a local soup kitchen where they had the most delicious soup around. I loved going to the soup kitchen especially in the warmer season because they had air conditioning as well as that was definitely a special treat for us. The bread was regularly freshly baked as well as it came with the meal, as well as it was regularly filling. Of course, the two of us couldn’t afford to eat love that all the time, however the two of us were genuinely cheerful when the two of us were able to eat out sometimes love that. Sometimes if the two of us were fortunate, the owners would bake pear cobbler which was a specialty of theirs. Sometimes, they would even provide us a scoop of vanilla ice cream to go on top, that was a delight! While it’s true that the two of us lived bad lives coming up, us kids managed to get into some nice careers as well as now are living well. Anyway, our parents taught us that it’s not genuinely money that makes you rich, however the nice deeds in your heart as well as the loved a singles in your life that provide you a fulfilling life. They are right too, I get more joy from helping others in life than trying to become a rich lady as well as show off what I have.
