I was actually surprised when my wife told me that she wanted to take a trip to the city.
I never was a fan of being around a lot of people, I felt claustrophobic in situations like that with a lot of crowds.
Still, I wanted my wife to be happy and so we took a flight to a city that she always wanted to go to. I felt miserable as soon as we arrived at the airport, but that was because the climate control system wasn’t very good. At least the temperature control settings weren’t so great and the air quality seemed lacking. I thought it would be better when we got outside to some fresh air, but it was a rather overheated day. Of course, I thought when we got a taxi, we would feel refreshed with the AC system in the ride. Well, the AC system was at a reasonable setting, however the cab smelled terrible like people threw up just recently and there was the smell of spilled beer as well. When my wife started panicking like she was going to throw up, I told the cab driver to stop and let us out. I paid the man but I didn’t give him a huge tip because he made us sick with his cab that wasn’t kept up very well. I asked my wife if we should walk to the hotel we booked, and she said we should just call an Uber. The Uber car was so much nicer and actually the cost of the fare to the hotel wasn’t even costly. It was actually cheaper than the cab ride and I figured it would be best to use Uber to get around the city or we could always rent a car, but Uber certainly was convenient. The temperature control settings were perfect during our ride and the car smelled fresh.
