It was this last Summer when our buddies as well as I all had a bet to see who could last the longest separate from air conditioning. There was a lot of money on the table for this too because all of us were serious. This all started when I was telling everybody that I could go the whole length of the Summer separate from air conditioning. I was trying to become adjusted to the boiling hot as well as cold temperatures so that I could lower our energy expenses, but then everybody wanted in on the challenge; All our buddies said there was no way I would last, but they honestly could manage. When I told them to put their money where their mouth was, it was on. Well, most of our buddies were able to get through half of the Summer before they couldn’t take it any longer as well as offered the use of their central cooling equipment. The cooling hat is technically not an AC system, it’s merely a hat you soak with water as well as it reflects the sun rays from the top creating a cooling effect. One neighbor said I was cheating, but everybody else agreed that I didn’t use our AC plan to win the bet.
