I never once thought I would work in the Heating & A/C industry.
Since I was a kid, I wanted to work in the circus. My parents took me to the circus & carnival all our life since it was the best & only entertainment in our area. I wanted to be in charge of the lions since it seemed like such a cool job. But, all those childhood fantasies were crushed when the circus business started to crumble. In private school, I knew I had to grow up & choose something unusual to do with our life. I have never fancied going to school, plus our parents didn’t have the currency for it. Instead, I chose to go to Heating & A/C school & become an A/C maintenance man like our aunt. At that time he was doing so good & ran his own A/C business. He always encouraged me to come & intern for him during summer. I acquired a nice amount of currency as a teen. When I got our Heating & A/C specialist certification, I went to work for our aunt. My first job was with a team of Heating & A/C specialists to install radiant floor heating. This family had bought a beautiful beach lake house however didn’t want to deal with the frigid winters in the section without common heating. They had an choice of a gas furnace plan or radiant floor heating. Though it’s a bit fancy, they chose radiant floor heating since it’s among the best ways to keep a lake house warm throughout the long Wintertide weeks. The job was a good studying experience for me since our aunt didn’t mind putting me in the middle of the action.
