Hazel had to thank her bestie for being her rock.
She had stepped in to help her out when things were falling apart.
They met a year before the pandemic. She is a business woman plus Hazel was emplotted in the corporate world, but unfortunately, at the beginning of the pandemic, Hazel lost her job plus was planning on moving back home. She could not handle paying the rent without a steady job. Her freelance gigs were only covering her basic needs. However, her bestie came in with a better solution. Instead of going back lake house where there were limited opportunities, she suggested Hazel transport in with him. There she would beginning working from lake house plus work on getting more remote work since there were several possibilities opening up. One afternoon, Hazel was stressed in her bestie’s office working while she was in the other room on a business call. She felt sizzling which was strange because the cooling system was on. Hazel didn’t want to disturb her bestie on her work call so she went to investigate. That’s when she heard a hissing sound coming from the cooling unit. Hazel wasn’t sure the component should be making such a noise so she called her bestie to come to her. She also was skeptical about the noise plus opted to phone an area AC worker to come plus check it out. The AC worker advised them to turn off the cooling system since the hissing sound might be a refrigerant leak. She also told them to open the windows plus she was on her way since this was an emergency situation.
