People talk about how you can save money on your energy costs by using a portable cooling system method in the summer instead of your central cooling system.
Well that may work for some, but where I live in the south it does not! There is no other way to keep cool in the boiling summer months other than the central cooling system method cranked, I have tried the portable cooling system method to try to save money and it does little to no good, and the heat is so disappointing that you need the central cooling system method to turn it off.
In the winter when it gets freezing I can say that a portable space furnace works with this method, but in the summer with the portable cooling system, forget it! You have no choice however to spend money on the high electric bills and crank the central cooling system. I really wish that the portable cooling system method worked because I really get tired of paying the high electric bills every single year. Here in the south the heat unquestionably lasts longer than just the summer and occasionally starts earlier, then for instance, I can tell you that in early February I am having to crank the central cooling system method for a month here and a month there. Then it would be back to the central heating and portable space furnace the following week. That is how silly it gets over here with the weather. But regardless, I constantly keep my central heating and cooling system method running tests on because of it all. It helps to keep the cooling system working well.
