The repair was thankfully an easy one

Working as an independent heat and cooling system worker is sometimes quite the headache.

Especially when you get called for a HVAC maintenance task and the person you are really working for gives you the wrong guidelines to their venue! This happened to me the other week. I had a buyer call to have their central A/C plan repaired and they ended up giving me guidelines with a wrong turn off on the road. I ended up getting lost and spending 2 hours to get somewhere that should have taken me no more than 30 minutes to drive to. I was blessed that we were in the era of the cell phone. If this had been back in the day it could have been way worse than it was. I called the buyer and had them give me the familiar guidelines. Because of this mishap on their part I ended up charging them an extra 50 dollars for getting me lost and the extra travel time, they totally understood and did not argue with me on it, but when I finally arrived the maintenance of their central A/C plan was thankfully an easy one, but so I was able to be in and out of there in about 40 minutes. Things like this happen sometimes, and when they do you always need to be prepared, then always have a cell phone with you and never be afraid to charge more if they get you lost. After all, that is not your fault but the fault of the buyer causing you the extra gas and road time.
