I was lost for awhile while trying to find customer’s home

I called the customer and had them give me the typical directions, because of this mishap on their area I ended up charging them an extra 50 dollars for getting me lost and the extra travel time, then they totally understood and did not argue with me on it; When I finally arrived the service of their central heating and a/c idea was thankfully an easy one, and so I was able to be in plus out of there in about 40 minutes

Working as an independent heat and a/c worker is occasionally quite the headache, especially when you get called for a heating and a/c service job and the man you are finally working for gives you the wrong directions to their place! This happened to me the other week. I had a customer call to have their central heating and a/c idea repaired plus they ended up giving me directions with a wrong turn off on the road. I ended up getting lost and spending 2 hours to get anywhere that should have taken me no more than 30 minutes to drive to. I was lucky that we were in the era of the cell phone. If this had been back in the afternoon it could have been way worse than it was. Things like this happen occasionally, and when they do you always need to be prepared! Always have a cell phone with you plus never be afraid to charge more if they get you lost. After all, that is not your fault however the fault of the customer causing you the extra gas and road time.
