I was really worried when I learned that my parents were suffering with poor immune system health.

He explained that the UV light kills viruses and other types of pathogens. It also utilizes a HEPA filter in which he explained pulls most of the contaminants from the air and improves the air quality immensely. He said that they should be doing better with the improved air quality in their home. He told me that he explained it to them, but they didn’t seem to care about it. So I took the doctor’s orders very seriously and called the HVAC company first to make arrangements for a UV air purification system installation. I told them to make sure it used HEPA filters because I wanted my parents to be more comfortable in their final years of life. I also didn’t want to have to get them into a nursing home, but I was considering hiring an in-home nurse to help them out. The first thing on the agenda though was the proper HVAC equipment. The HVAC professional told me if I was looking to improve the air quality, I should also have the ductwork system cleaned and consider using HEPA filters in the HVAC unit as well. I thought that was brilliant, and so I went for those homeowner solutions as well. My parents told me I didn’t have to do all this for them, but there was noticeable improvement with their health and I let the doctor know all about it.
