Our dog is totally strange when it comes to people coming to the house.
- For some reason when there are plumbers, heating and A/C professionals, or other companies who come to the house, he freaks out and barks at them when they are coming to the door, usually if the people are new to the house and my dog doesn’t recognize them, he particularly goes nuts, then that is until every one of us invite the person into the house, then as soon as the person gets in the house, my dog totally switches up the tune and hastily wants to play around and be nice.
There is a slight concern with our dog jumping on the people, but other than that he doesn’t try to bite or act ferociously at all. Oh man, we had a new HVAC professional come out to the house recently and the guy practically looked like he was ready to run when we were trying to let him inside the house, then it was tough to contain our dog. Even when every one of us temporarily put him in the guest dining room, he managed to break the door open and went running for the HVAC professional. The HVAC professional screamed in fear but our dog only licked him and was acting friendly. We had to explain to the guy that our dog is legitimately very nice to people when they come into the house, he was still cautious around my dog however he went to take care of the HVAC repair and then suddenly ran on his way when he left the house. He was afraid our dog would start barking at him again, but our dog kept his cool.
