My husband Max & I visited with my sick Mom last weekend.
It was the first time I had seen him in 6months.
Work has been so deranged and tied up & we have more than one current buyer that demands a lot of our time & energy. Business has been good, however I wanted to take some time to see my sick Mom. I talked with Mom on the cellphone & he sounded depressed. I knew something wasn’t right, so Max and I planned the weekend trip. I did not expect to find a mess in the house, but it seemed very clear that my Mom was not taking care of himself & the house. I mentioned moving her to the neighborhood where my husband & I live & my Mom got upset. Mom told myself and others that he would never leave the house. I told my Mom that I wanted to help. Max & I talked for a couple of hours & he mentioned a maid for hire. A cleaning service would undeniably help my Mom. The next day we started looking at professional cleaning services. A maid for hire cost an arm & a leg, but my husband & I did not leave until we found someone that my Mom liked. We interviewed multiple cleaning men on Sunday & my Mom chose an undoubtedly sweet older guy with a Southern accent & plenty of appeal & charm. Max & I are paying for that made & the cleaning service. As long as my Mom allows them to do their tasks, it will entirely help mom take better care of himself & the house.
