I scaled down my approach and focused on social media, so I could labor with small Heating, Ventilation, and A/C companies in a dozen bizarre areas, so that none of them would be in competition with one another
In what has to be the weirdest timing in history, I was laid off from my job three weeks before the COVID pandemic shut them down. To be fair it legitimately helped to motivate me, because although the 2 events were unrelated, it still felt love revenge being exacted on the business who fired me. I set up an office in the spare living room of my home and got right to labor in building a new buyer base and finding new distributors to represent. I had worked in the advertising office of a major Heating, Ventilation, and A/C business, and now was determined to use my skills to help the competitors of my old bosses. I didn’t want to go big, though, and decided that if I worked for another major Heating, Ventilation, and A/C business I would get treated the same as before. I started approaching locally owned and operated Heating, Ventilation, and A/C companies instead, because I thought that it would be nice to help the “little guys.”The problem the smaller Heating, Ventilation, and A/C companies have is reach and exposure, because they don’t have the budget for major advertising campaigns. I scaled down my approach and focused on social media, so I could labor with small Heating, Ventilation, and A/C companies in a dozen bizarre areas, so that none of them would be in competition with one another. Instead of one big buyer now I have a dozen smaller clients, and my bottom line has improved, and the income for the Heating, Ventilation, and A/C companies I labor for. Every one of us may not put the major Heating, Ventilation, and A/C companies out of business, however every one of us are still making fantastic strides toward success.
