This area of the country is known for hurricanes, not for twisters, and every year the state gets pounded with several substantial storm fronts, causing property damage to varying degrees, last year was my first encounter with a tornado, but, as well as I have to say it’s a lot more scary to witness, however i was at home, late at evening, as well as the power went out. I didn’t even have time to get up from my chair when I heard what sounded appreciate a locomotive engine, passing right over the house. I heard a metallic shredding sound, as well as then the winds settled down as well as the noise went away. A few moments later the power came back on, but the air conditioning did not. I was too uneasy to go outside, so I waited out the rest of the evening without my air conditioning. When the sunshine came up, I heard a lot of people outside making a fuss over their damage, as well as I stepped out back to see how badly damaged my AC device was, then on the positive side, it was not damaged, but on the disadvantage side, the air handling device for my central Heating as well as A/C system was absolutely gone… The cooling system had been plucked off of the cement slab to which it had been bolted, as well as taken away to Oz, I guess! I walked up as well as down the street, talking to folks as well as finding out how terrible their damage was, as well as but I kept my eye out for my cooling system, I never found it. What happened to the AC unit, I will never know.
