When I first l received about smart control units from our friend, I was really gleeful to get a single.
I didn’t want just any cheap a single though, I wanted a single of the best kind with the touchscreen & advanced features like linking the smart control device to our Alexa device.
I thought it would be so cool to be able to tell Alexa to adjust our temperature control settings & he would say, “I’m on it.” I would never have to go to the actual control unit, but the touchscreen was really cool regardless. Well, I ended up downloading the smart app on our phone & I was amazed that I could make so more than 2 swings. I could program the control device or put it on reading mode so it would learn our number one settings. The smart control device even tells me the weather forecast & makes adjustments based on what the weather is like outdoors. I have been enjoying our current control device crucially since I installed it. The upgrade was absurdly straight-forward & the energy savings are unbelievable. I actually did not realize that I would save so much money on our energy bills, but they advertise that fact directly on the box. I really like that Alexa hooks up to our control unit, I just hope Alexa never mishears me & decides to roast me through the night instead of cranking up the air conditioning system. I recognize there are glitches in PC systems naturally & I’m sure that even Alexa messes up from time to time. I recognize if that ever happens, I’ll just adjust the temperature control settings manually.
