I guess I am a bit different, because I like the summer.
Not just the summer, but also the intense heat; Lots of people like the summer, however they don’t care for the boiling outdoors aspect.
I do love the intense heat of summer! I like the tepid weather, sun burns as well as all. To mimic the outdoor weather in the other seasons, I set the thermostat to 79 degrees, as well. While that feels just perfect to me, our friends don’t like coming over to our locale much. The only downside to keeping our furnace running so much, is that it is very extravagant, especially in the Wintertide time. I try not to use the heating as well as cooling system in the Summer to try to avoid costly Heating & Air Conditioning bills. However, going a long period of time separate from using your heating as well as a/c has a drawback, which I learned the hard way. There was one time I didn’t use our Heating & Air Conditioning unit for close to a year, because that year, the weather was incredibly tepid as well as I didn’t see any need to turn on the heater or the a/c. Even though our furnace system was having no problems before I turned it off in March, when I went to turn it on almost a year later, it wouldn’t come back on! I had to get a Heating & Air Conditioning professional who inquired about the last time I used it. When I told him, he warned me that HVAC appliances should not be kept off for that long. So now I make sure I run the furnace as well as a/c occasionally, even if the outside weather doesn’t make me feel the need for HVAC.
