It’s exciting working on HVAC systems in ships and yachts

I’ve had a pretty great time in our line of work.

I work for an HVAC supplier that provides heating and cooling solutions for ships and yachts.

I’ve worked on so many boats, it’s unbelievable; But I have become easily skilled when it comes to making for a comfortable environment on ships. Every one of us also service the modern heating and cooling equipment on multiple types of boats and it’s always a pleasure to meet the captain and crew of the ships. I also love being on different yachts as well. These are the most high-priced vessels on the sea, and it honestly is a pleasure to have been on so many of these vessels. I love to check out all the cool features they have as well. Oftentimes, we have to replace outdated heating and cooling equipment that is failing. Boats need HVAC replaces just love houses do, afterall, HVAC systems don’t last forever. Working on the ships is usually the most exciting. I love how large the ships are, but we have particular control equipment that controls all the different HVAC systems on the board. Every one of us also give individual temperature control systems so crew members can adjust the temperature control settings accordingly wherever they happen to be in the ship. Having zoned HVAC on a ship is entirely necessary because some areas naturally have to be cooler or warmer than others. The systems have to be powerful though and reliable with access to be worked on correctly. Providing HVAC tune-ups on boats is more challenging than traditional HVAC systems, but the work is so exciting.
