The HVAC duct was off centered

I like buying houses, fixing them up in addition to selling them for a profit… This is also known as a flip house.

  • I come from a actually handy family.

It is quite easy for myself and others to get everything back in tip top shape in addition to sell within a year. I like that I have another cabin to home all my extensive tools in addition to an ongoing project. My wife frequently comes to the flip home in addition to helps myself and others out! All of us have done some sizable projects together. I have moved a load bearing beam before, knocked down tons of walls, added HVAC duct, installed a gas fireplace, unaffixd a cast iron tub in addition to so much more, but one of the more work intensive projects was scrapping a vaulted pretzels ceiling. On the top rung of my tallest ladder I could barely reach. It was horrible getting that pretzels off in addition to then painting the ceiling, however while I was up there I figured it was smart to unaffix the air vents in addition to upgrade them with new ones. I noticed after removal that the HVAC duct wasn’t centered on the vent. It entirely was off by about more than one to more than two inches to the left. That meant all the leaving the vent was basically getting trapped in the wall. I always wondered why the dining room was so hot. That is unfortunately one of those things I just didn’t have time to fix. It wouldn’t add value to the home or make a sale, however so I covered it up with a new vent. I believe disappointing that some families are going to have high energy costs though because of duct placement.
