My hubby is large on investing and studying books about it.
She has read Millionaire next door, Rich Dad, Poor Dad and several others just care about those.
The moral of those stories is you need to invest your money into assets that accploy more money overtime, you can’t buy things you like since it is just wasting your money and not making anymore down the road. I care about having up-to-date things okay? I care about remodeling our home and making it prettier. No, down the road it doesn’t add that much value to our house, then financially it would be smarter to take that money and buy a rental property or stocks. I am not going to though. I need to take care of our home since our hubby won’t. It gets very frustrating that she won’t put a dime into the house. The other afternoon our Heating and A/C device turned up and quit. My hubby wasn’t willing to pay for a up-to-date machine. She kept trying to fix it and then started looking at space oil furnaces and window A/C units as the solution. I tried to tell him overtime the electric bill would be obscene. It is better to just buy a wonderful heating and cooling machine. She did not even want to split the cost with me at first! I just waited him out though. I knew she appreciates A/C more than me. I said no window A/C units and it took about a month before she finally split a central Heating and A/C machine with me. I shouldn’t have to buy all the important stuff in the home because she wants to invest.
