It truly bothers myself and others because eventually, he’s going to assume I’m an actual intruder in his home and he might go running for his rifle… Fortunately, I believe exactly where his gun cottageet is and he takes awhile to get it unlocked; Lately, I have been going to visit him all the time and I have been changing his air filters and making sure the Heating and A/C expert works on his Heating and A/C system.
My Grandfather unluckyly has Alzheimer’s disease. Only a few years ago he seemed sharp as a tack, but things have gotten pretty bad, however he used to change his air filters correctly and scrub out his Heating and A/C idea components. He was a successful Heating and A/C expert in his time and he never wanted to have his Heating and A/C diagnosed by anybody but himself, unluckyly, after a short time with this disease, his memory is now shot. He has trouble even recognizing myself and others from time to time and I have to help him task his memory. Whenever I do this, he constantly yells at the bad guy saying he’ll take care of it or he already did the Heating and A/C repair when it was obvious the Heating and A/C was not tuned up. It’s becoming more problemsome and I dislike to say this but the people I was with and I might have to place him in a nursing home if things get any worse. I just assume about all the things that can go wrong. He might assume the Heating and A/C pro is an intruder, grab his guns and shoot the guy while he’s just there to repair the Heating and A/C system.
