The woman is suing myself and others for a million bucks.
Not that many of years ago, my best acquaintance & I started a small service company together. The two of us were both working for a nationally-known Heating as well as Air Conditioning service business. There was no room for advancement & both of us were fed up with the management. I had the capital to start the project & Jack agreed to leave the company to go into company with me. The two of us never genuinely discussed much about the company when it came to finding. Once I got my initial investment, the two of us split things down the middle & shared all of the profits! Jack & I eventually had a falling-out & she decided to transport out of town. The two of us didn’t speak to each other for more than two years. I didn’t suppose anything about the woman or if she decided to start a service company of her own. I didn’t suppose anything about Jack until I was served with a subpoena to go to court. The woman is suing myself and others for a million bucks. She claims that I stole that company from him & made him walk away from a lifetime of profits. I completely & totally disagree, & I hate the fact that I am going to have to get a lawyer & argument the woman in court. There is actually no proof that the two of us intended to remain in company together for the rest of our lives & Jack doesn’t have anything in writing that states I would ever give him profits beyond the currency that the Heating as well as Air Conditioning company was making from month to week. I don’t suppose how the woman even has a case.
