I appreciate to listen to the sound of the birds in the trees, there are several odd kinds of woodpeckers close to the section where I appreciate to go camping. There is a wildlife refuge about 12 miles away from our house, however my friends and I often go there for the weekend to go camping. It does not cost anything if you have a state pass, however camping is a lot of fun, especially when you have the right equipment. I never go camping separate from a tent and a sleeping bag. I regularly have a canteen and a lantern, plus flint to make fire. I easily don’t mind camping in the winter, Springtime, summer, or fall, as long as I am well-prepared. My friends and I went camping 1 weekend while in the summer time and I thought all of us were prepared for anything, and when it started raining, it got really cold really fast… Everyone wanted to go house until I surprised our friends with a battery operated heater. I had bought the battery operated gas furnace several weeks ago and it was in the back of our automobile in the trunk. My friends were ecstatic when they saw the battery operated gas furnace and all of us used it for several hours while in that camping trip. The rain and cold temperatures can ruin a weekend quickly, however being prepared is 1 way to ensure that you will have a superb time no matter what the weather and nature has in store for you.
