A/C specialist was cautious around our dog

The HVAC professional screamed in fear but my dog only licked him and was acting friendly

Our dog is totally weird when it comes to people coming to the house, for some reason when there are plumbers, HVAC professionals, or other dealers who come to the house, he freaks out as well as barks at them when they are coming to the door, usually if the people are current to the house as well as our dog doesn’t know them, he honestly goes nuts, that is until we invite the person into the house, as soon as the person gets in the house, my dog totally switches up the tune and quickly wants to play around as well as be nice. There is a slight complication with our dog jumping on the people, but other than that he doesn’t try to bite or act ferociously at all, and oh man, we had a new HVAC professional come out to the house recently and the guy practically looked like he was ready to run when we were trying to let him inside the house. It was difficult to contain my dog. Even when we temporarily put him in the guest living room, he managed to break the door open as well as went running for the HVAC professional. The HVAC professional screamed in fear but my dog only licked him and was acting friendly. We had to explain to the guy that our dog is really easily nice to people when they come into the house! He was still cautious around our dog even though he went to take care of the HVAC repair as well and then quickly ran on his way when he left the house. He was afraid our dog would start barking at him again, but my dog kept his cool.
