When it comes to people that regularly make their way door to door selling things, they can be selling basically anything.
I actually have seen magazine sales people, boy scouts selling boy scout cookies, people that do not sell items but instead try to sell their beliefs. Most recently I had the most unexpected encounter with a salesman, it was somebody that was selling used window A/C appliances. What this guy did as a living was he took all kinds of unusual Heating & Air Conditioning appliance products, gas furnaces & holding systems alike that were broken & or disfigured & he fixed them up & then chose to sell them. He was showing me a rather attractive window A/C appliance that he had for sale. He mentioned that he knows the section has been especially tepid recently & he told me they were selling pretty quickly! The price he was asking was much more reasonable than the price of something new from one of the heating & cooling companies & so I decided to go ahead & purchase one. Our dwelling regularly gets tepid in the warmer months & so it’ll be nice to have some extra cool air making its way around. Even our Central A/C appliance struggles a good amount to keep the entire dwelling cool while in the hottest of days. It was a relaxing plan for me to purchase the little A/C appliance that the door to door salesman had been selling. Not only did I save a fairly good amount of money by not buying a new one, I genuinely didn’t have to worry about upgrade fees either.
