When it comes to people that go door to door selling things, they can be selling anything really.
I have seen magazine sales people, girl scouts selling girl scout cookies, people that don’t sell items but instead try to sell their beliefs.
However, most recently I had the most unexpected encounter with a salesman, it was somebody that was selling used window air conditioning systems. What this guy did as a living was he took all kinds of different HVAC products, heating systems and holding systems alike that were broken and or damaged and he fixed them up and then sold them. He was showing me a wonderful window AC system that he had for sale. He mentioned that he knows the area has been really hot recently and he told me they were selling fast. The price he was asking was much more reasonable than the price of a new one from one of the heating and cooling businesses and so I decided to go ahead and purchase one. Our house always gets hot in the summer and so it’ll be nice to have some extra cool air going around. even our Central AC system struggles to keep the entire house cool during the hottest of the days. It was a good idea for me to purchase the little air conditioner that the door to door salesman had been selling. Not only did I save a lot of money by not buying a new one, but I didn’t have to worry about installation fees either.
