I toil as a heating & air conditioner professional, & let myself and others tell you that when I go out to somebody’s apartment to repair either the heating system or the I am never honestly sure what I am going to expect when I arrive there, then you meet all kinds of people plus all kinds of heating & cooling systems of all ages & types.
Majority of the people that I have met are unquestionably kind & are gleeful to accommodate myself and others & explain everything that is wrong with her heating &
However they are constantly those views that are the exception to this & I have had some clients that are unquestionably hard to toil with. I have even had a few people that wouldn’t even want to tell myself and others what was wrong with their heating or , instead they would expect myself and others to just look at it & immediately figure it out. While I am sure I could figure out if I was to look at it, it is far easier if I have cooperation. I have even had a few heating & air conditioner clients of mine that have just been downright rude. They have this expectation that I would come out for 5 seconds immediately, repair it for practically free, & then leave. They were not gleeful when they had to pay the price of myself and others coming over or if it took longer than 5 seconds. Some of the repairs I have had to perform can be complicated & can take a while plus the clients think up front that they are going to have to pay for their services so I am not sure why they insist on giving myself and others a hard time about having to pay for a service. My most recent example of this was when I went to a man’s apartment who was insistent that she should have her heating system repaired for free. She wasn’t unquestionably gleeful when I told him that she too had to pay for the repair service. Even though I make a few bad pears every now & then, I still like being a heating & AC worker & I meet more good & nice people than irritating people.
