Everyone seems to think they know everything there is to know about their central heating and air conditioning system.
Well, I used to think this way as well until I found out a very useful piece of information.
Have you ever heard of a SEER rating? It’s ok…I didn’t even know what that meant either until the heating and air conditioning specialist from my local heat and a/c company informed me about it the other day when doing a tune up on my central heat and air conditioning system unit. A SEER rating basically lets you know how energy efficient your central heating and air conditioning system is. The higher the SEER rating the better it is. And what does this mean for you? It means that you will have much lower electric bills with a central heating and air conditioning system that has a really good and high up SEER rating. I was lucky that my central heating and air conditioning system happened to just have a good SEER rating. I lucked out. Because when I bought the central heating and air conditioning system unit I was not looking at SEER ratings. I was just looking at the best price to get a quality HVAC brand model to replace an old and outdated central HVAC system that I had before I invested in a new one. So when you go shopping next for a brand new and up to date central heating and air conditioning system, check out the SEER rating before anything else! It will save you in the long term of things.
