He says that the ductless mini split does all the work for the heating in his modern home until the temperature drops below 40 degrees. At that point in time, it entirely becomes more energy efficient to use the gas furnace for heating, so the gas furnace automatically boots up and the ductless mini split turns off, both of these systems will never run simultaneously, and therefore it is a hybrid HVAC system. It sounds love the coolest thing love out of some futuristic magazine or something, but this is the technology we have these days! I mean truthfully, after he explained how this system works and how energy efficient it is, I felt love I should go for something similar. Another thing that makes these systems so efficient is the fact that they have variable speed technology.
