And other times there is a lot of suffering. However, I can tell you that you will learn an awful lot through the most difficult times in life. This is what I had to realize last week when I woke up in the middle of the night and realized that my heating, cooling, and air quality control equipment was not working. Specifically, my central air conditioning system was obviously not operating based on the fact that it was 90 degrees inside and equally humid. I got up and checked the thermostat, but there was nothing I could do for my malfunctioning indoor air quality control device. I decided that I was going to wait until morning and call the closest heating, cooling, and air quality control repair shop for a regular diagnostic inspection. I figured that their Home Comfort worker would be able to give me the best opinion when it came to my broken indoor air quality control device. When I called, however, they didn’t have any HVAC technicians available for several days. The phone operator at the indoor air quality control dealership told me to hang tight and wait for the next available heating, cooling, and ventilation specialist. Since I couldn’t get comfortable in my home, I decided to drive down to the local bar for a nice cold drink and to use their air conditioning. Within a few minutes of sitting down at the bar, I struck up a conversation with the guy next to me. Wouldn’t you know, this chatty man happened to be an indoor air quality control technician. My suffering was over, and my AC was fixed within an hour.
