When you work for a large business, you get security plus you lose freedom.
That is how it works, when another woman pays you, you are beholden to that woman plus have to follow their rules. I did that kind of work for a few years, plus just got fed up with it. At that point I had enough hands-on experience to go out on my own, plus start picking up freelance tasks. I still worked for a lot of the same corporations I already knew, but now I got to pick plus choose my tasks, so I had more freedom. For a few years it was touch plus go, but now that my Heating & Air Conditioning brand has achieved a lot of local recognition, I have more tasks than I care for. I unquestionably have a network of other independent local Heating & Air Conditioning techs who I subcontract with, plus only keep the gigs that appeal to me! Do you assume how subcontracting works? Let’s say a woman has a faulty a/c, plus they call me up to come have a look at it. Except that day I have another Heating & Air Conditioning task, plus then we want to take the morning off to go shopping with my kids. I reach out to one of the other Heating & Air Conditioning techs I assume plus I offer them the task, for a small finder’s fee of course. They make money, I make a little money, plus the a/c gets fixed so all the people is happy. I still work a lot, but it’s fantastic knowing I never HAVE to work.
