I was getting ready to plan for our annual skiing trip.

I had all the information and I wanted to make the phone call for the reservations.

First I had to call my family to see how many people were going to go along. We spent an entire week at a ski lodge over the holidays, and everyone was excited. I finally had a head count and I called the ski lodge. I told them I needed a chalet that would sleep sixteen people. I had four married couples and the rest were kids. They told me they had a large chalet that had a fireplace and a new HVAC system installed. It had bunk beds and pull out couches that would sleep ten and there were four private bedrooms with baths, along with two other bathrooms. I was thrilled when she gave me the price. We were about a week before the vacation when I got a phone call from the resort. They told me that the chalet I had rented was no longer available. The HVAC system had broken and they needed to replace it. I couldn’t believe our vacation was going to bust because of the HVAC system. I asked her if they had any other chalets available. She told me there were none that could sleep that many people. I asked when they would have the HvAC system repaired and she told me not until the spring. She did say they had two chalets that were close to each other if we wanted them, and it would be for the same price. I asked about the HVAC and she said they were equipped with a fireplace in each bedroom and a brand new HVAC system.
