For the last year, ever since we had moved into the house, I had been using the garage as my work studio.
There was a wood stove in there, that I thought was going to be good for the garage.
That was before I realized all the work that went with a wood stove. I had to buy wood, cut it up, split the wood, and feed it into the stove. The heat was uneven and I always worried about the dust and dirt. I didn’t want all that dust getting onto my paintings. I talked to my husband and told him that I wanted to get a real HVAC system into the garage. He told me to look at the pros and cons of different smaller HVAC systems and then we could sit down and talk. I started researching different HVAC units. I was pretty sure I wanted to get a heat pump. I found out that the heat pump was more efficient in energy and heat. I also read about the ductless HVAC system. The ductless HVAC works under the same process as the heat pump. It wouldn’t take up very much space and it was supposed to be energy efficient. The ductless HVAC system didn’t need to have ductwork, either. When I showed the information to my husband, he seemed impressed. He liked the idea that we could purchase the HVAC system and install it by ourselves. I finally made a decision on my own that my husband approved of. I can’t wait until the ductless HVAC system is finally installed.
