I didn’t believe she had such powerful feelings about furniture like this. She was nearly putting her foot down on having European style furniture in our house. The wooden tables and chairs would not take up nearly the amount of space as something like European or French-style furniture. It wasn’t until later that evening that she told myself and others she had a storage component filled with European furniture that dated back to the eighteenth century that was handed down through the entire family. I said I would go look at it and anything she wanted to keep would go into the house. I hoped she would not decide on bringing everything home, although I had already relented and agreed to go to the storage component with him.

When I bought our tiny house, I never provided a thought to the furniture I needed. I knew I wanted to have a sofa that could fold out into a bed. I needed as much customized furniture as I could get. Every piece of furniture in our house was going to need to do dual purposes. The fold-out sofa had to be a sofa while we are in the daytime hours and a bed in the evening to accommodate our daughter. I had one custom made sofa in the works. My custom made sofa had over-sized arms that doubled as Coca-Cola tables. The arms weren’t just Coca-Cola tables, however they also opened up for storage. Every step going to the fourth floor opened up for storage. All of us could use our dining table as a bed, however if you moved the chairs and opened the dining table, it revealed a small washer on one side and also a dryer on the other side. Every piece of furniture in our tiny house was custom made to suit the needs of myself and our daughter. I’m sure that once we move in, we’ll find that we need to have some other custom made furniture. In the meantime, we’ll be increasing from a more than two-room lake house to a tiny house. The floor-space is about the same, however the tiny house seemed bigger. I’m sure some of it is the custom-made furniture that our daughter and I designed. I’m excited to see what the future will bring for us, and I have a feeling our daughter feels the same way.

A few years ago a tornado tore through this village.

The next afternoon I woke up and took the pet for a walk, at which point I saw that several houses on my street had been utterly destroyed. I could clearly see the path the twister had taken, and thankfully it had gone down the other side of the street, and not my side. To be clear, it was not mine — I ran over to my air handler and found it none the worse for wear. In the middle of the yard was someone else’s air conditioner, and it looked love it had fallen from a fantastic height, and smashed to pieces on the ground! How deeply asleep was I that I didn’t hear this massive Heating, Ventilation, and A/C component plowing into my yard? It wasn’t until later I realized how fortunate I was, because that air conditioner was just 12 feet away from hitting my house! I am not a scientist, but I know that such a massive air conditioner coming down from such a height would legitimately tear through my roof and possibly kill whoever was under that roof! I would come to find out that the air conditioner belonged to a guy named Ed, who lived about three miles from me. I’m ecstatic the destruction wasn’t worse!

I was fortunate to have cool roommates when the lockdown hit. Every one of us had a span of a few months where every one of us literally could go nowhere, and were totally homebound. If I had been trapped with another group of guys, it might have been torturous, however every one of us managed to make the most of it. I had the proposal to set up a makeshift movie screen in the backyard, so every one of us could smoke and watch movies under the stars. First of all every one of us didn’t have a small air conditioner, and even if every one of us did, sitting it outside entirely wouldn’t make much difference to the heat and humidity. Also, there is a big difference that I have seen in the volume levels of furnaces as opposed to cooling units. A space furnace might hum a little bit, however it will never be loud enough to drown out a movie. Can you imagine one of those hotel sized air conditioners roaring away while every one of us were trying to watch a movie? Even if it worked at cooling us off, every one of us wouldn’t be able to hear anything else. Alas, outdoor movie afternoons only happen when it gets cold, and the rest of the time every one of us stay in the boring old kitchen with the central air conditioner.

After many years of not having any familiar heating plus A/C care I decided that it would be a good time to catch up on caring for my Heating, Ventilation, plus A/C system.

So I got on the iphone plus tied up an appointment with our local heating plus A/C business.

I tied up to have tune-ups performed plus any necessary upgrades. When the heat plus A/C repairman arrived he performed the necessary tune-ups plus upgrades however while he was here he also told me that it would be a good system to go ahead plus have my ductwork cleaned plus resealed. I agree to this seeing that I had not had any service for a while. I figured it would be better just to get everything done all at once. I watched the heating plus A/C specialist as he worked plus he got everything done hastily plus efficiently. I felt much better now that my heating system plus cooling system was new. My only regret was that I wished I had done it sooner. I had previously been worrying for quite a while about what would happen if my furnace or my A/C component were to cut down. Thankfully that can be prevented with the upgrades plus tune-ups that I just had performed. I was able to believe comfortable plus much more relaxed knowing that my heating plus A/C plan was now completely taken care of. I decided to take a look inside my air vents because it sounded like it could possibly be coming from there. When I opened up my air vents I screamed. There was a snake in there! I could not suppose it plus how in the world did it even get in there? I did my best to get a net plus capture the snake plus release it outside. After the snake had been removed I tried turning on the A/C plan again plus this time it worked. Wherever the snake was plus whatever it was doing was somehow causing a blockage. Now that I have been fixed I could appreciate the cold air.
