My old guy consistently did things the way he was taught when he was coming up.
He would tell myself and others how important it was to have correct Heating and A/C method service done via the professionals. That’s something I happen to agree on. Of course, when I recently tried to tell him about installing an Heating and A/C method without the help of professionals, he thought I had lost my mind. He had to tell myself and others all over again about how the Heating and A/C professionals go to school and specialize in this type of work. He asked myself and others how the people I was with and I could possibly install our own Heating and A/C systems if the people I was with and I were not certified in this type of work. I told my father that I was going to install my own Heating and A/C and I would show him, and he told myself and others I better get my Heating and A/C certification then. Well, I wasn’t going for an Heating and A/C that was highly advanced or anything care about a geothermal Heating and A/C or a dual-fuel furnace. I was simply going for a DIY ductless mini cut system. I read a lot about these Heating and A/C systems and how they could be installed by the average homeowner, which I was trying to explain to my father. Of course, my father didn’t want to hear anything about it, he just wanted to keep everything up with the professionals. Again though, I agree with doing that. I suppose the professionals need to take care of the correct Heating and A/C care and service even if the Heating and A/C equipment was not installed by them. I did end up showing my father the Heating and A/C I installed, and he was surprised. He had a difficult time believing I diagnosed the replacement,but he said I did a fine job.
