I was so happy that I only had one simple job to do today as an HVAC repairman before I could go home.
It was the weekend, so things weren’t going to be all that busy anyway.
I had the rest of the day off to celebrate my nephew’s birthday and I couldn’t wait to go hang out with my brother and his family. I’m very close to my brother and his wife, and my nephew loves me! There was no way I was going to miss the party. I was headed home to get ready for the party when I saw my pastor calling on my phone!. He asked if I could check out his a/c because he suspected that it needed repair. From what he said, it seems it needed some simple maintenance. My pastor knew he could rely on me to help with this air conditioner because I had helped install a new air conditioner into the church a couple years ago. I had been the one to help him make an informed decision on what HVAC system would be best for the church. He opted for a heat pump which was best suited for the church. I remember assessing that ancient HVAC system that had been installed prior to the new one. Needless to say, the church badly needed an upgrade. The modern cooling equipment works great. Anyway, I was happy to help my pastor with his current air conditioner issues, but I told him he would have to wait until tomorrow.
